Abyssius Murkraken Raw Black metal with a kick. Each track has something catchy that your brain will cling to, you'll end up chanting to it all day. Favorite track: Lady of the Fountain.

Frosty Bear Passionate, raw and melodic black metal. The production is just right, as you can clearly hear what’s going on, without losing any of the atmosphere. Somewhat of a cross between the more melodic Swedish (or Finnish) 2nd wave, with a generous serving of Norwegian grimness. Favorite track: Forest of Breceliande.

Meatbreak Brilliant raw, maliciously melodic album, that reminds me of the more bucolic moments among Legion Blotan's discography. Favorite track: Lady of the Fountain.

Dark Avenger Finally we have a black metal album based on The Mabinogion, instead of the same old themes found in a thousand other bands. This is fierce and melodic in the Finnish tradition while still maintaining an original voice. This album will stand amongst the best in 2019 and in the coming years. Favorite track: Peredur, the Son of Evrawc.
